No charge for clean used oil.

Construction and demolition can be dumped into a pit separate from the trash dumping area. Also tires, green waste, white goods, oil, batteries, and small amounts of scrap are put into separate areas from the trash dumping area.

By law the landfill can not take in any hazardous waste to be buried in the landfill. Hazardous waste is anything flammable, toxic, reactive, corrosive, pesticides, liquids, batteries, bio-medical wastes, used oil, PCBS, friable-asbestos, or radioactive waste.

Refrigerators and deep freezers can not be put into the landfill. The freon needs to be removed before being brought to the landfill. There is a place set aside for these items.

Tires, up to and including size 11:24-5 are accepted.

Used oil that is free from water solvents and anti-freeze is accepted and poured into a tank set aside for that purpose.

The landfill will not take any large scrap metal such as cars and junk equipment.
